SABAIDEE! - Precious moments of Thailand and Laos February 2000 Hans Hendriksen travelled 4 weeks to Thailand and Laos. On this trip he shot over 1700 frames. In May and June 2001 a selection of 32 special moments in format 30x45 cm. were exhibited in Odeon, main city theater of Zwolle, The Netherlands. In Thailand and Laos people will greet you saying "Sabaidee", which means hello or welcome. The exposition offered a wide range of daily life situations. Young and old people, hard working or dancing for tourists. Modern 21th century life mixed with ancient traditions. Hans gave the visitors his personal view on specific Thai themes like The Bridge on the River Kwai, Thai boxing, Thai massage and elephants.
